Payment .. Payments can be made using Visa, MC or Amex. Payments can also be made via PayPal. For people who might prefer to utilize debit transfer (Canadian customers only) or direct fund transfers (all customers), they can choose the "Direct Fund Transfer" option at check out and we will contact them after receiving their order to arrange payment. This option may also be used in the case of a credit card not being authorized which often happens in the case of larger dollar amount purchases.
Currency .. All online transactions are done in Canadian currency. All prices on this website are shown in Canadian currency. If you are paying with a non Canadian credit card, your transaction amount will be converted to your currency by your credit card company. We do not set the rates for these conversions so please consult your credit card company for exact conversion rates.
Taxes .. All sales to Canadian residents will have the tax rate of the province that the products are being shipped to added to the purchase price. Products being shipped to the US will not have any Canadian sales tax added to the purchase price.
Canadian Customers .. All shipping within Canada is free for products over $200 (before tax) except for over sized/over weight items and except for deliveries to "Beyond Point" areas. If your item happens to be ineligible for free shipping (most are eligible) we will contact you to inform you of any additional shipping charges. At that point, you will have the option to accept the additional charges or decline them. If you accept, we will process those charges and ship your product. If you opt to decline we will refund your purchase price charges and cancel your purchase. Any products under $200 (before tax) will have a standard shipping charge of $16 added to the purchase price at check out.
US Customers .. All product shipped to the US will have a standard $100 shipping charge added at check out. Additional shipping charges may apply for over sized/over weight items being shipped to the US. Certain areas in the US are not eligible for this standard shipping rate. If your product is over sized or over weight, we will contact you before shipping your product to inform you of any additional shipping charges. As always, you will have the option of accepting and paying these additional charges or declining them. If you opt to decline the extra shipping charges we will promptly refund your payment and cancel your purchase.
International Restrictions .. Some of our authorized dealer agreements have restrictions on shipping product outside of Canada. If your purchase contains any such restricted items we will notify you before processing any final payments and/or shipping your order.
US Custom/Brokerage Fees & Charges .. Items being sold and shipped from Canada to the US will have to clear through US Customs before being delivered to you. Depending on the origin of the item, there may be import duties to pay as well as brokerage service fees. These duties and fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
Shipping Insurance .. Both Canada Post and UPS/Fedex offer standard delivery insurance at no charge up to a value of $100. For items valued at more then $100 and less then $1000, optional shipping insurance may be purchased and we would be glad to arrange that for you. Simply let us know and we will get you a quote for the additional insurance. It's not typically very expensive and we would definitely recommend it, although it is up to you, not mandatory.
For any items over $1000, we require that the item be sufficiently insured by the shipping company. This additional insurance cost will be determined and then up to you to approve and pay before we ship. We will do the leg work to figure out the cost and then let you know. Once agreed upon and paid, we will complete your sale and ship your new instrument knowing that it is fully insured in the unlikely event of damage or loss. It doesn't happen often but when it does, it is crushing and there is no recourse if it is not properly insured ahead of time.
Return Policy .. We love selling products but it's no fun if you are not happy with your purchase. So, if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason you can send it back to us within 7 days of receiving it. The only condition is that it must come back to us in the same condition as it went out to you in and it must come back with all of its original packaging and accessories. You'll have to pay for the return shipping as well. As soon as we receive it back, we will refund your purchase price, less any additional shipping charges or fees. The only exception to this policy is for identified (specified on your receipt) "Special Orders". Special orders are specifically ordered for you and therefore we do not offer any refunds, or credits for them.
